  • Dysport® is a prescription injection administered by a licensed healthcare professional to treat moderate to severe fine lines and wrinkles.

  • Dysport® temporarily treats moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows by reducing specific muscle activity.

    Wrinkles are caused by repeated movements and muscle contractions. One injection into each of the 5 points between and above the eyebrows temporarily prevents muscle contractions that cause frown lines.

  • Treatment requires minimal downtime. You can return to your daily routine immediately after you leave your specialist's office.

  • The majority of users see improvement in just 2-3 days after treatment. It can take up to 2 weeks for the treatment to fully set in.

  • One treatment of Dysport® provides results that may last for up to 5 months. Remember that results vary from patient to patient though, so your injector will plan your next appointment based on your results and aesthetic goals.

  • Our injectors use a very small needle for Dysport® injections. Some patients receiving Dysport® Cosmetic report the injections feel like a pinch, and some feel nothing at all.

  • The most common side effects are nose and throat irritation, headache, injection site pain, injection site skin reaction, upper respiratory tract infection, eyelid swelling, eyelid drooping, sinus inflammation, and nausea.

  • Dysport® and Botox are both made from botulinum toxin type A. All botulinum toxins have the same mechanism of action: blocking the release of acetylcholine (ACh) and preventing the muscles from contracting to maintain the aesthetic effect. However, the dose of Dysport® is not the same as the dose of any other botulinum toxin product and cannot be compared to the dosage of any other botulinum toxin product that you may have previously used.
